Real estate technology provider Yardi has announced the acquisition of Deskpass, a leading U.S.-based platform for flexible workspace bookings, and Hubble, the U.K.’s top online marketplace for coworking and flexible workspaces. The move aims to meet the evolving needs of businesses adapting to hybrid, remote-first, and office-based working models in a post-pandemic world.

Yardi, which has served building owners, operators, and occupiers for 40 years, says the acquisitions will enhance its existing Yardi Commercial and Yardi Kube solutions. The integrations are designed to support flexible workspace operators, building owners, and occupiers with advanced tools for booking, management, and reporting.

Meeting the Needs of a Dynamic Workplace

The acquisition of Deskpass and Hubble aligns Yardi with the growing demand for adaptable workspace solutions. Deskpass offers a comprehensive network of coworking locations in North America, enabling users to book desks, meeting rooms, and private offices on demand. Meanwhile, Hubble provides U.K. businesses with access to coworking desks, private offices, managed spaces, and event venues.

Tushar Agarwal, CEO and co-founder of Hubble, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition. “Our vision has always been to enable businesses to find workspace solutions that are accessible and adaptable to their teams’ unique ways of working. We’re thrilled to scale this vision as part of Yardi,” he said.

Sam Rosen, CEO and co-founder of Deskpass, echoed the sentiment. “Joining the Yardi family is a monumental step forward for Deskpass. Yardi’s global reach and deep industry relationships provide the perfect platform to supercharge our mission of offering businesses and individuals access to high-quality, flexible workspace solutions anytime, anywhere.”

Strengthening Global Infrastructure

Yardi also operates CoworkingCafe, a global marketplace listing over 21,000 coworking and flexible workspace locations. The platform offers unparalleled marketing reach for space operators, seamless integration with Yardi Kube’s management platform, and comprehensive tools for membership management, billing, and reporting.

Yardi Kube is recognised as the largest global platform for managing coworking and flexible office operations, offering end-to-end solutions that streamline operations for space providers. By integrating CoworkingCafe with Deskpass and Hubble, Yardi plans to expand its marketplace, improve booking experiences, and meet the increasing demand for flexible workspace solutions.

Robert Teel, president of Yardi Global Solutions, described the acquisitions as a major step forward. “We are excited to build a global infrastructure to connect office users with space from the best office owners and coworking operators,” he said. “The Deskpass and Hubble teams bring a wealth of industry knowledge about flexible marketplaces, helping us better serve this evolving need.”

Future Outlook

Yardi’s acquisition of Deskpass and Hubble underscores the company’s commitment to addressing the needs of businesses and professionals seeking flexible and accessible workspaces. By combining the expertise and networks of these leading platforms, Yardi aims to provide an industry-leading experience for both workspace users and providers.

The integration will allow Yardi to continue supporting businesses as they adapt to new working models, ensuring they have access to innovative solutions that meet the demands of modern workplace policies.
