Cybersecurity firm Patrowl has announced its expansion into the UK market at the 2024 International Cyber Expo in London. The French-based company, a leader in offensive security-as-a-service, is known for its multi-award-winning platform that secures organisations’ exposure on the internet. Patrowl’s solution, designed to protect against various external threats, will be showcased at the Expo as part of its wider UK launch.
The decision to expand into the UK follows Patrowl’s recent €11 million Series A funding round, which has enabled the company to scale its operations and introduce its comprehensive cybersecurity tool to a broader audience. Patrowl’s solution offers continuous monitoring of organisations’ external attack surfaces, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities in real-time.
The company has earned recognition in Europe, particularly in France, where it is referenced by the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI), the equivalent of the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). Patrowl has also been a frequent recipient of accolades at France’s prestigious cybersecurity conference, Assises de la Cybersécurité.
Speaking at the International Cyber Expo, Patrowl’s representatives highlighted the increasing importance of protecting internet-exposed assets, such as websites, cloud services, and remote access points. “In today’s environment, traditional security practices are no longer enough to combat modern cyber threats,” the company stated. “With internet-exposed services accounting for 50% of fraudulent access to information systems, it is critical to have robust protection in place.”
Patrowl’s platform is structured around four core actions aimed at providing comprehensive external threat protection:
- Mapping: Continuous discovery of all internet-exposed assets via External Attack Surface Management (EASM).
- Identification: Real-time detection of vulnerabilities and weaknesses through Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM).
- Remediation: Effortless creation of remediation plans, supported by automated one-click reports.
- Control: Supervision of remediation efforts with one-click retesting options.
One of the distinguishing features of Patrowl’s solution is its combination of automation with human validation, ensuring high accuracy and minimising false positives. This makes the platform accessible to both technical and non-technical users, while also boosting the efficiency of cybersecurity teams.
The International Cyber Expo is an essential event in the cybersecurity calendar, bringing together industry leaders to discuss and present the latest innovations. Patrowl’s participation at the Expo underlines its commitment to becoming a key player in the UK’s cybersecurity landscape.
Patrowl also emphasised the growing pressure faced by cybersecurity professionals, particularly in the fast-evolving digital environment. The firm’s solution is designed to ease the burden on security teams, streamlining their workflows and helping them stay ahead of potential threats.
Patrowl’s representatives will be available at Stand No. M41 during the Expo, held on 24 and 25 September at London’s Olympia. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the platform’s capabilities and discuss the company’s plans for its UK operations.
