North Highland, a leading change and transformation consultancy, has announced that two of its prominent leaders, Sue Saikia and Eilidh Weir, have been named among the “2024 Women Leaders in Consulting” by ALM Consulting Magazine. This accolade highlights the achievements of women in the consulting field who are making significant impacts on their firms, clients, and the next generation of leaders.
The ALM Women Leaders in Consulting Awards honour exceptional women for their leadership and contributions within the industry. This recognition is particularly noteworthy as it reflects the increasing influence women are having in a traditionally male-dominated sector.
Celebrating Client Service Excellence
Sue Saikia, who serves as the Transportation vice president and industry lead at North Highland, was recognised for her “Excellence in Client Services.” With over 20 years of consulting experience, including 13 years at North Highland, Saikia has successfully led numerous accounts and industry groups. Her leadership has been instrumental in executing some of the firm’s largest client transformation projects. Colleagues commend her personable approach and passion for cultivating strong client relationships, as well as her dedication to mentoring aspiring leaders in consulting.
In response to the award, Saikia expressed her gratitude, stating, “This recognition is dedicated to the teams I lead and the effort we collectively give to supporting our clients and each other. It can be tough to balance being a mom and a female leader, but I’m grateful to learn every day from those around me while striving to be the best I can be.”
A Future Leader in the Public Sector
Eilidh Weir, the Public Sector associate vice president at North Highland, received the honour of being named a “Future Leader.” With nearly 15 years of experience, Weir has played a pivotal role in orchestrating large-scale organisational changes across both public and private sectors.
