EZVIZ, a global leader in smart home technologies, has been honoured with two awards at the SEAL Business Sustainability Awards 2025, recognising the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability. The company’s initiative, EZVIZ Green, was presented with the prestigious Environmental Initiative Award, while its innovative EP7 Smart Video Doorphone System received the Sustainable Product Award.
The SEAL Business Sustainability Awards are globally regarded as one of the foremost recognitions for companies dedicated to environmental responsibility. Previous recipients have included major names in the tech industry, such as GE, Lenovo, and ASUS. EZVIZ’s recognition highlights its dedication to advancing environmentally conscious products and initiatives that prioritise sustainability.
Jingwen Cao, Board Secretary and Director of the ESG Committee at EZVIZ, expressed pride in the company’s achievements. “EZVIZ Green represents our vision for a future-focused, smart lifestyle underpinned by actionable, sustainable steps. The EP7 is a direct result of that vision,” said Cao. “We’re advancing our mission to create smart homes that evolve with sustainability at their core. These awards speak volumes about the real impact of our green efforts.”
The EZVIZ Green initiative is a long-term corporate project designed to drive the development of environmentally friendly home technologies. It also promotes global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) projects through the EZVIZ Green Fund, which includes planting global forests. The initiative’s goal is to create eco-conscious smart homes, offering both innovative technology and a reduced environmental impact for families across generations.
One standout product in the EZVIZ Green range is the EP7 Smart Video Doorphone System, a next-generation internet-enabled intercom that provides a sustainable alternative to traditional front-door intercom systems. Unlike conventional intercoms, the EP7 uses a dedicated solar panel to harness renewable energy, significantly reducing the installation constraints and carbon footprint. The product is also wireless, using Wi-Fi Halow technology to eliminate complex wiring between the outdoor intercom and indoor monitor, thereby reducing material waste and the environmental impact of installation.
EZVIZ’s efforts to reduce waste and energy consumption reflect the company’s broader sustainability goals, with the EP7 serving as an example of how technological innovation can be combined with eco-friendly principles. By integrating green initiatives into its product designs and operations, EZVIZ aims to push the boundaries of smart home technology while prioritising the environment.
The SEAL Business Sustainability Awards further solidify EZVIZ’s standing as a leader in the tech industry’s sustainability efforts. By focusing on both environmental and social responsibility, the company is demonstrating that it’s possible to develop high-performance products that contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
